Haza, NOOOOOOO!!!! :smt022

I said this before - There are a ton of great pilots in our industry who have been trained at PenAir and it has a very good historical reputation. It is sad that this "home to return to" will no longer be. I guess all the old boys will have to find a new place to return to. Very heart-wrenching that is for certain.

I too will miss our times together, but maybe baby we can start a new era. Cargojet is takin over the world and soon enough we will all be sporting the black and red. Likely, we will still rock that hangar or rather that spot on the field.

Thinkin of ya Haz,

So...any idea what will happen if (and I hope not) Tradeport wins?

Will you relocate? :smt012

Tradeport's deadline of July 21st has come and gone and we are still in business. Management is still negotiating and hopes are that some kind of deal can be reached that is fair to everyone.

Relocation is an option, but we like YHM for many reasons.

The article in the Spectator was a typo of the 31st. Should have read 21st. Also there is no Frank White...

The Canadian War Heritage Hangar is hurting for $. Heck they had to sell the Corsair (my fav WW2 aircraft) for a million bucks just to pay the rent. Since CargoJet and their RockZtars moved all ops in front of you away from the War heritage hangar...why not work out a rent agreement with them and get the phuque out of CargoJet's way.

BTW, Someone is gonna die there at night with all the CJ Tug tows booting around that ramp @ night like it's an ant hill. EHPH me...I almost got smoked the other night...if he had stopped to say "I'm sorry", the cops would have to be called in to pry my hands off of his phuquing neck if I got a hold of the dink! I guess SMS and ramp maneuvering speed does NOT apply to the ground help.

Anyway...I suggest you don't play hard to get and hold out too long....just take a look at that house that stands alone on Dundurn between Main and King. The held out too long and now they live in a shopping mall parking lot.

Either way, you will lose, just get the best deal out of it. Make sure the 'Whites' are resposible for dedicated employees like you. If not...there's your answer...join the dark side and let Cargo Jet complete your "Jet-A" (Jedi) Master training
