The aircraft had only one wing, did it not? There's been a lot of interest in this lately on avcan, read up on it.silent_pete wrote:one wing landings?! That was a controlled crash!!!! Pepople probably had to pick up there dentures off the floor from how hard the landing was!

Re: Amazing one wing landing...
Calling that an amazing landing is like calling a fender bender an amazing parking job!
But me thinks the term monoplane describes one set of wings although this is open to people's interpretation based on aircraft type.
For example...
One wing or two?

Re: Amazing one wing landing...
the video that you, Changes in Latitude, showed is of a regional jet making and absurdly hard landing. Yes i have seen the other video of the a/c losing its wing and its pilot some how lands the damn thing. In my opinion its fake, the way he comes down then manages to pull up and smooothly land......IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!I just wanted to make sure that i was sent to the right video. Then link you have, when i click on it, it sends me to you tube to watch a hard landing, not a one winged plane. Just thought id let you know.
