Can you make a movie doing it ??? Please...D-Iced wrote:There is an even more secure way to do it, though not quite as quick (can be with practice), and it works with a 3 blade. The bottom of the cowling is secured directly to the cylinder heads, very secure. You start with yer left hand on bottom of cowling (if this was rock climbing it would be a "bomber mega pocket", solid), left foot out as far as possible on forward horizontal float strut, layback position. Right hand over left in a crossover move, a quicktime shuffle of the feet, and an easy pull up on the fwd diagonal strut on the offside with your left hand. Voila! The prop should be straight down on a 3, same for a 2.
Not saying I have used this for offside docks, but you could for shore.

I beg to differ. The bottom of the cowl is tied right into the jugs. Check it out (unless older Beavs are diffferent)Matthew wrote:why not just go through the doors![]()

The hub is certainly strong enough for that kind of manouver, but the cowl as iflyforpie already mentioned is only attached to the other cowl........and for the price of them I don't think it's a good idea to hang off them (at least when the owner is looking).
Matt.
