The first few minutes on the state of the media is exactly why I went to Afghanistan, and what I saw only served to illuminate the severity of this issue.

I managed to get through a minute of that bullshit. Conservative media my fucking ass. CBC anyone? Globe and mail anyone? The vast majority of american media outlets? So the left wing nut cases don't control it all so they blame the conservative media? Joke.

I think "conservative" is meant in a relative way.... considering your stances on most things, "conservative" is still WAY left of you. It's all relative.

It is interesting to note the report in today's Toronto Star Business section showing that those heavily-taxed "socialist" countries, such as Scandinavia, are the ones which manage to stay out of debt, on average, and be the lenders to the rest of us.... us, who are now pretty much bankrupt .
I guess that says something for the North American conservative and neo-liberal policies of which Mel speaks.

Conservative is indeed a relative term. He cites, New Brunswick, Sask and Vancouver newspapers as conservative. He obviously smoked something the RCMP disagrees with because anyone calling the Vancouver Sun or Province conservative is obviously an idiot.

My view is that they are trying to deceive us because the meetings/activities are being done in secret. The media doesn't ever broadcast about SPP or hardly ever because I never see it on the news which I watch everyday.
I rememberl seeing a poster on a street lamp downtown about a protest or something about SPP, a couple of years ago.
Deception is terrible nowadays so it is very important to try and know the truth.
I think the SPP is not good because it's to help the next world order which I do not want to see.
The SPP is about trade agreements and not really for our prosperity, otherwise we would have seen prosperity already happening. The video says there hasn't been a rise in minimum wage in 25 years. They treat people like they only deserve the scraps of wealth, when minimum wage is not enough for anyone to live decent.
We know there is no social housing programs and that's wrong. Right now, everyone is going to be only caring about themselves and so we shouldn't be doing anymore trade agreements.
