As seen on pilot career center:

New interview process for 2009 Hiring:

*Phone Screening (prior to invitation to Calgary Interview)

**NEW - must do a 10 minute presentation on a pre selected question.

**Then 4 behaviour questions followed by one hypothetical CRM type question.

**Once that is complete, you go for a 1hr Computerized Open Book Tech Exam from the AIM.

First of all it's not a speech.
It is simply an emailed question you are asked to prepare an answer for. Some guys choose to stand and do a presentation. Some elect to sit and discuss it with visual aids. Some just plain sit an answer it. Just ask yourself what stands out the most and how much effort are you willing to put towards a carreer job. Only you can answer that.
