Braveheart
Gladiator
Troy
Trainspotting
Matrix Trilogy
LOTR Trilogy
Really hard to say... so many movies and catagories. I have a ton of funny movies I like, buy I wouldn't call them my favourite... or the best movie.
We may need to categorize this and pick selections from each one. Let's see... we would need Action, Thriller, Horror, Comedy, Drama and Documentary. Am I missing any?

Oh yeah-Trash movies...
The Citizen Kane of trash, Russ Meyers
Faster Pussy Cat! Kill! Kill!
Black and white, topless busty 1965 women driving around in sports cars killing people....
Why Russ Meyers never got an Oscar, I'll never know-that system must be rigged

If you can make it though a few disturbing scenes "The Shawshank Redemption"
"The road to Wellville" if you can find it, is hilarious
I'm a sucker for "the Fifth Element"
"The War of the Roses" is also a good one

Re: Favorite movie(s)?
Action - Matrix (yeah, the last one was kind of bad, but still quite awesome all around), LOTR (nerdy, but wicked)
Horror - The Grudge (probably scariest movie ever), Nightmare on Elm Street movies (best horror villain)
Comedy - Click (most recent... got some good drama in there as well), all Adam Sandler and Will Ferrell movies.
Drama - Ummmm... maybe Shawshank or American History X.
Animated - Finding Nemo, Shrek series.
True stories - most recent... Alpha Dog and Into the Wild (read the book first... very good).
Musical - Tenacious D, the Pick of Destiny... LOL.
Documentary - Cocaine Cowboys... must watch. One of the two guys it's based on was a pilot/mechanic and did some very cool things to transport the white stuff to the States.
Braveheart and Gladiator are my favourite though I guess.

Worst I would have to say would be meet the spartans(the only good thing about that movie was carmen elctra, man is she phacking hot or what) There are alot of bad ones out there but this one I can remember because I actually went to the movie theater to see it, boy was that a mistake.

El Mariciachi
Filmed for a total of 7000 and launched Robert Rodriguez's career
Old school, just for the wedding band scene. I peed.

That was always my favourite movie as a kid. If you compare Beetlejuice played by Michael Keaton, to Heath Ledger's joker, the resemblance is stunning.Highflyinpilot wrote:Hey mostly harmless, What about the movie beetlejuice.
I can't believe noone has mentionned Hot Shots! or Airplane. Unbelievable, two of my favourites for sure. MacGyver: the Lost Treasure of Atlantis, also tops the list.
