Anyone know who offers this training for pilots in the GTA? And if so, would love to hear your comments (duration, cost, professionalism of the course, etc).
Tks

Re: Hypobaric Chamber/High Alt. Training
I think that DRDC (Defence Research and Developement Centre) up at Downsview might still have a working chamber. I'm not sure of that, or if they do courses for the general public. I will fire off an e-mail to a dude I know there and see if he can get me some details. PM me. Failing that, I know there is a chamber in Winnipeg, again, not sure who to talk to/how to get into it.

Mcrit, thank you for doing that. I will PM you to find out the verdict.
Just on course on a recurrent and have been chatting with quite a few people who have recently been to the chamber. They all have been saying what an eye opening experience that it is, and that it really should be mandatory to learn your symptoms of hypoxia (as everyone reacts differently).
I know that they have a program down here, but it is big bucks, and would look to seek and alternative back home.
Thanks Again

I found this if you have an FAA medical:

Fifteen locations throughout the US. Cost: 50$
