Northwest Company
I see Northwest company is looking for a co-pilot ...again. I think the last time was no more than 6 months ago. I remember a couple years back they were also looking for a co-pilot with only 250hrs, and I was told the co-pilot couldn't log the time. Looks like they can now, and the requirement went up to 1000hrs.

Re: Northwest Company
You'll only fly 3-400 hours a year, so no too great if you're looking to build time (which everyone with 1000 hours is trying to do) and if/when they send you away for sim training, it's 9500 dollars (I think, maybe more) NOT pro-rated over 18 months from the sim training date.
So, you fly as a co-joe for a year, then you are locked in for another 18 months. There was also talk about asking for the money up front in the future. Definitely some things for those applying to think about.

Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did do.

If you are applying for this job, I would definatly demand my salary be paid in Northern Pizza's. I'd say 4 per day at a ratio of 3 pepperoni to 1 Deluxe....but thats just me.
Wha happened
Re: Northwest Company
How about some dirty bird as well from the quick stop?

Re: Northwest Company
I believe NWC only has one captain. So they're most likely just hiring replacement FO's as the guys build time and move on. If they wanted to retain people they should let them fly co-captain once they become competent. It's not like this guy needs more cessna twin PIC time.

What about 3 meat? Maybe you could get your profit share in the form of 3 meat.Tibor wrote:If you are applying for this job, I would definatly demand my salary be paid in Northern Pizza's. I'd say 4 per day at a ratio of 3 pepperoni to 1 Deluxe....but thats just me.

Re: Northwest Company
They had two captains in January. And you're right about the co-captain thing, but I don't think they will do that. Not sure why, cause the CP's been there forever and is not going anywhere. And yeah, it's not like he needs more Conquest time. They also have a Cheyenne, so maybe the FO will get to drive that as PIC... not sure what their plans are.endless wrote:I believe NWC only has one captain.
