Re: Pic from a swamper
I guess more dual is required as I've had no joy with either suggestion.
Suggestions, or photobucket?
The pics in Photo Galleray are on my hard drive, and they're ones I imported from my Nikon. From Photo Gallery, I tried copy & paste between the img brackets, and get nothing. Are the ones in your Windows Photo Gallery on line or just saved on your hard drive? Did you upload them?
You can paste on here any photo or graphic that has a URL (http://www.whatsoever.jpg) Just right click on the photo and Copy, then right click to Paste them here, between the "Img" and "/Img" tags provided above.
That didn't work either. It starts to copy a file, runs for a bit, and then quits. Leaves me with nothing, just as before starting. I'm thinking the problem is the size of my files? They tend to be pretty big ... 2 + mb.Or if your forum 'User Control Panel' (forum top right) is set up you can just go to the bottom of the post entry - place where you write your entries - and select "Filename", "Browse", then "Add File" right from your computer.

Go Photobucket, it's relatively easy and feel free if any question.
Good luck!

You're right...problem is the file size, to big. Reduce them in file size and dimensions and try it again it'll workQuote:

Re: Pic from a swamper
Hey Beaverbob, NCAS? Can't read the name on the side but sure looks like GQA. Was that the one that was winched out of the water at Port Simpson? I have a photo in my logbook (not me!) but my old log is elsewhere. Rare sunny day. Love low tide and the dreaded dock pilings...

Xbank, Yes Northcoast in 1987 and the plane is FGQF. I think the dock is at Skidigate. I don't know which one was winched out of the water. The quality of the picture is due to scanning a dusty slide.

Bob If I remember correctly almost all of North Coasts planes have been winched out of the water at some time or other. Beechnut
Re: Pic from a swamper
Okay, dumb question, how is the best way to attach pics?
Re: Pic from a swamper
Click "post reply"
Scroll down to "upload attachment"
Click "choose"
Find picture on your hard drive from the screen that pops up.
Double click picture or picture file.
click "add file"
scroll back up and click "submit"
Note: Picture file will not upload if not a jpeg or is too big of a jpeg.

One more thing about posting pictures.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of any forum page and see the list of everything you can and cannot do.
It must say: "You Can post attachments in this forum"
Hope this is all clear enough.

Have you ever seen glassy water like this in Butte befor.
Not oftain.
I posted the wrong one and can't seem to remove it. The correct one has the dust mostly removed.
