Inuvik town strip

Post by Tuk U »

all you guys that got your start at the old town strip will be sad to hear that the old green hangar burnt to the ground last night, likely the handy work of vandals, a real piece of history is no more. if those walls could talk.... well some of you will be glad there is no more danger of that!

My first landing in Inuvik was at the town strip when I delivered a Super Cub from Edmonton for Freddie Carmichael a couple of years ago.

The registration was CF-GOD.

I was beginning to wonder if this forum had anybody old enough to know what I was referring to! Probably not many though.
