Ah, the "edit" button helps, huh?

I have'nt really noticed any real decline in offers(I've turned down 3 since spring), but they have all been full time, and quite mediocre for pay. Contracting has been OK, but maybe a bit slow, but it usually is in the summer. Have turned away work there also.
I know other guys who also are not having a whole lot of trouble finding work either. Seem's like its more the employers having issues getting experienced guys. Big exception is helicopters. Apparently they're praying for a good fire season as not much else is going on.

Type Endorsements help, but they don't guarantee you anything, unless you have the experience/reputation to back it up.
Maybe you do, maybe you don't, I don't know.

Good luck

With those aircraft types in your repetoir, you are probably only really looking at big union shops.

That's the problem. Anywhere else, this time of year, you'd pretty much just have to walk in the door.

If you are happy to work on old junk, and particularily; carry endorsements on some old junk, job security is never problem.

Try Air Canada Jazz, even with the contract ending they have hired at least 10 new people for the london base in the last 2-3 mths. Give it a try.

How long were you overseas? Did it pay well? Was the country safe?

If there is nothing here are you going to go back overseas?

It's slow where i am and unless you have one (or more) endorsements then you are expendable.....

Having an endorsement (at least it has been my own personal experience) always helps.

Flight line is running a Dash 8 course out west. It's not that expensive. There's lots of Dash 8 and Q 400 work out there. It's just overseas..

Have you tried Bombardier in Toronto? Supposedly they are now looking (again) for licenced AME's.

Boring and you don't use your own tools but hey....new Global's and Q400's......

Just a thought.....
