Hope some of the young pilots in the business are paying attention, especially the ones that think they should have a flying job right out of the gate.

I do agree with all the above mentioned. I know that I have missed out on some of the coolest and most interesting flying one could do early in ones career. I wonder if people ever do it in reverse. To clarify; once someone is bored with day corporate or airline flying, do some people go back to bush flying?

You know, that's a very good question.
Off the top of my head I'd say no. I know older people who started flying in the bush, but none who gave up an easy job for a hard one that pays way less (likely, if you go with the Corporate example). Besides, the skill sets are two TOTALLY different kettles of fish.
Anyone actually do that? I'm glad I did it while still young, the body tends to take a beating, these days if I don't want to lift it, in a net it goes....

Solo'd at 15 while in high school, then 3 years in an aviation college program.
It took 4 years 5 months to the first job after going solo.

all paid from my own pocket and done with having no family in the aviation bubble. Thank god for osap.
Well I guess I'm technically still paying most of it back.
Can't afford to go to the "regionals" just yet!
