What a dumb stunt. Lucky those kids are ok.

Why do people think turkeys can't fly? I mean, do they just climb up there every night, or what?

Candy drops used to be quite common at fly-ins (when I was a kid) - Dumped candy from airplanes though, not lawn chairs with ceiling fans and pantaloons hanging off them :shock:

Are parents so strapped for cash they need to attend 'candy drops'? It would be laughable if it weren't tragic that some children got hurt just for a stunt. :(

Having a standard that pilots lose their licence after making a mistake despite doing no harm to aircraft or passengers means soon you needn't worry about a pilot surplus or pilots offering to fly for free. Where do you get your experience from?

Talking about dropping stuff out of airplanes reminds me of a few years ago when they had a pumpkin bombing contest near here. Friggen hilarious. Busting helium filled balloons with a plane was always fun but you don't see that stuff at flyins anymore.
