Offering ride YXL -> YYC then YYC -> YVR

Post by 200hr Wonder »

Hello all,

I will be leaving YXL on or about the 16th of Oct and driving strait through to YYC. I will be spending a few day there and then heading to YVR on or about the 23rd of Oct.

If anyone wishes a ride I will be driving my truck and I should be able to haul a reasonable load as I have a Uhaul trailer so I can offer more or less most of the back of the truck I hope (TBD based on my crap).

PM me if you are interested. I can also pickup at any points along the route.

Cheers,

200hr Wonder.

Absolutely, BMC. This can be an extremely ugly time of year for that drive. Enjoy the trip, take your time, don't push it. Safe travels to you.

Thanks for the good wishes. I have left my self extra DAYS to get where I want. Going to sit back get comfy and toodle along at my own pace. Heck towing a Uhaul they get squirrely above about 90 anyways.

watch for the fine print in the uhaul contract. some insurance polices don't cover you if you go over 80 km/h.

I need to move some equipment while you're in YYC, and a pick-up and trailer could sure come in handy
