FDR says AA 77 Cockpit door never opened
According to this report, the flight deck door on AA FLT 77 did not open once during the entire 90 minute flight. The data indicates that 1300 electronic sequences prove this. If there is one scintilla of truth to this, it proves categorically that the prime conspiracy theory involving 911 is the official US government version of it. Not that it matters now, it is a point of historical interest, the havoc and cost following 911, ie. illegal wars of occupation that Canada is now embroiled in cannot be rescinded. But it is a tiny little point to ponder is we are ever to learn anything from our mistakes.

And here I was all ready to welcome back one of our most vocal of socialists and anti-authoritarians ... Swede.
Then I saw the date of his post, and I sank into depression just thinking of the good old days on AvCanada.

I still think United 93 was shot down but we were told never to believe that.....

The question you need to ask yourself is: Why would a flight data recorder record something that has nothing to do with the flight of the aircraft?
I really should start investing in whatever company owns Reynolds Wrap.

From an AA pilot on PPRuNe:
Not aware if the AA 757 had a door sensor for the cockpit door. If one used the electric unlock switch on the overhead panel, then may that was recorded.
Problem is, it wasn't done that way. Each pilot had a key as well as every flight attendant (much to the average AA pilot's chagrin). Inserting the key and opening the door did not activate any electronic system on AA's 757/767's.
Re: FDR says AA 77 Cockpit door never opened
That puts a hole in that theory because they used keys and open doors weren't monitored.
Siddley, Swede, if they had recordings of other American Airline flights showing that the boxes were recording those doors all the time then the theory becomes more factual. It's likely they do have more recordings but were they all the same? Probably most pilots were not turning the locks off, right?
