New School in CYYB?

Hey everyone,

Some of you might be aware that North Bay based Algonquin Flight Centre closed last year. Apparently the Sudbury based Central North Flying Club would be taking over flight training at the North Bay airport. Does anyone have any updated info on this?

i heard it was a romour floating around. i was a student at AFC last sept. but i did it that someone is reopening there

So, here's the scoop!

The new school is coming. It's going through it's approval with TC at the moment and could be up and running anytime. Rest assured anyone who used to be a student with AFC will likely be contacted by the staff of the new flight school (Comprised mostly of AFC staff).

I won't give you anymore information outside of that since I'm not aware of it all. So, standbye to standbye!
