Transport Canada Exams
Hey, can any of you shed some light on which books are best to get to study for my transport canada M1 exams? Also, does anyone know of any sites you can go to for practice questions etc?
Thanks,
Adam

Re: Transport Canada Exams
I am in the process of writing right now and can give you some ideas. The Jeppessen books that are easily obtainable covers all everything on the exams. Also I downloaded software from dauntless aviation and have been using that. I just finished my second exam and alot of the info that was in the software was on the exam. Mind you dauntless is FAA exam questions but they will get you in the right direction. Anything that you are unsure about just research it. ASA has Itouch downloadable software if you have a Itouch from apple and that way you can study anywhere. This should get you on the right track.

The practical exams are pretty much straight from American A&P licensing. They have practice questions on line. I'll see if I can find them. CARs for the AME has the best regulatory stuff.
Here - Looks like they might want some money for it though.

I found the ASA prepware on Itunes. Just type in AMT in the search engine at the site and it costs 9.99(Worth it, help me through engine).

Re: Transport Canada Exams
Is there a ground school requirement for these or can anybody go ahead and write these exams?
Re: Transport Canada Exams
see CAR 566.03
Lots of training.
You can not challenge the exams, just as an AME can not challenge a flight test without training.

Haha my apologies, must have mistakenly posted this question here. The question I intended to ask was regarding the exams for Dispatchers and a training requirement...Cranium wrote:see CAR 566.03

Re: Transport Canada Exams
I don't believe that is true. I think you can challenge all the exams except for air regs. That is when you need to show your approved log book, and proof of schooling.Cranium wrote:see CAR 566.03

We're all here, because we're not all there.
