Someone with a quarter of those qualifications can expect double that pay, even in a slump.... I want to pass thru A-town this summer just to see who went for that ad.
Re: Bush Pilot?
I'm really curious if there is anyone out there with those qualifications who would even consider it. If there is than all hope is lost.

I like the part....
Work Environment: Outside, at heights, noisy
Um okay... maybe they should also mention to bring a paper bag lunch with you everyday in case you get hungry...

I was rather shocked at this add and I knew it needed to be viewed here.

A university degree is useful so you can read those long dissertations while at your remote base.
"What's it doing now?"
"Fly low and slow and throttle back in the turns."

Anyone have any clue why flying a caravan or a beaver would require such requirements? Insurance?

1 Owners are american
2 Probably the hours the last guy had
3 You forgot to mention the pay - $3000/mon to fly a 206, beaver, 208 amphib and a PC12
IMHO these guys know sfa about flying. The worst part is the cp is a 22,000 hr guy. I guess he makes $4,000/mon
Oh yeah, and you have to have retractable, turbine, and G1000 experience. And bring your own ky jelly

Re: job requirements
Where could I get that?Advanced Seaplane Institute Certification,
I would love to get it to add to my collection of " Qualifications ".
I might consider working for them if the work is only five consecutive days a month, assuming of course they pay for my " Seaplane Institute Certification ".
The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Re: job requirements
There's a possibility that the job had to be posted for legal reasons. The candidate is likely hired already (or will be) but to circumvent too many additional applications, the job is tailored to the candidate.
It's possible that it's immigration related (or similar) and that the poster has to prove that the job listing was circulated.

Re: job requirements
Obviously the add is tailored to fit.
However when they ask for a certain qualification one would expect there is a means of acquiring said qualification.
So where do you go to get this one?

This would only work for someone that was retired and wanted to do some fishing in their spare time.
Re: job requirements
Where does it say anything about a 206, Beaver or PC12? The only types I see mentioned are a B-18 and C-208.Lost Lake wrote:3 You forgot to mention the pay - $3000/mon to fly a 206, beaver, 208 amphib and a PC12

How come I can't find them in a search of the CTA or TC operator list search?
