job requirements

Post by WTB:PPC »

"7500TT, 1500 seaplane, 200 BE18 floats, 2000 turbine, 125 C-208 amphib, 1500 retract, current Flight Saftey and G1000, Advanced Seaplane Institute Certification, First responder first aid certificate"

Anyone have any clue why flying a caravan or a beaver would require such requirements? Insurance?

1 Owners are american
2 Probably the hours the last guy had
3 You forgot to mention the pay - $3000/mon to fly a 206, beaver, 208 amphib and a PC12

IMHO these guys know sfa about flying. The worst part is the cp is a 22,000 hr guy. I guess he makes $4,000/mon

Oh yeah, and you have to have retractable, turbine, and G1000 experience. And bring your own ky jelly

Advanced Seaplane Institute Certification,
Where could I get that?

I would love to get it to add to my collection of " Qualifications ".

I might consider working for them if the work is only five consecutive days a month, assuming of course they pay for my " Seaplane Institute Certification ".

There's a possibility that the job had to be posted for legal reasons. The candidate is likely hired already (or will be) but to circumvent too many additional applications, the job is tailored to the candidate.

It's possible that it's immigration related (or similar) and that the poster has to prove that the job listing was circulated.

Obviously the add is tailored to fit.

However when they ask for a certain qualification one would expect there is a means of acquiring said qualification.

So where do you go to get this one?

Advanced Seaplane Institute Certification

Where does it say anything about a 206, Beaver or PC12? The only types I see mentioned are a B-18 and C-208.
