Canada vs Russia...a tragedy?

I mean, come on! Canada or Russia? One team goes home tonight. And, in my book, that's a tragedy!
The biggest rivalry in hockey. In the quarter final. At the Olympics!
It's bad for the Russians, or the Canadians, to loose in the Gold Medal Game. But to loose either of these teams, so early on in the games, is to cheat the fans of both Nations out of the show down they deserve.
Tonight, is really the "gold medal" game as far as I'm concerned. This is the note on which the games should end. I think it's a true tragedy this game is being played, when it is.

BTW, I'm thinking Russia will get the job done. Hope I'm wrong. So do you....

Agreed, sucks to see one of these teams out so early, but both did it to themselves by losing a game.

If we can keep our shit together in our own zone we'll be fine. The Russian team is not as deep as Canada. They have two good forward lines and mediocre defense. We have 4 good forward lines and great defense....let's just hope everyone plays up to their potential.

Your right and it is.. cuz with this game it's all or nothing, just because it's a silver medal the russians deserve, gold is what really counts so if they wanted it that bad they would have gotten it!
