Adam17 wrote:Hey everyone, I am looking for more information on a/c maintenance in the above mentioned area. I have been using this website for the past year and I know of most the companys that operate out of Montreal but you dont seem to hear of much recruiting going on for the companys that are there for a/c mechanics with experiance but no Licence. I know I may hve answered my own question there (No licence) but these companys surely employ mechanics as well as licenced staff?
Little bit about myself:
I am now in my 11th year of a/c maintenance having done my apprenticeship at British Airways in the UK and after 7 years there I moved on to work for Jet Aviation in Geneva. I was at this company for just over 3 years and then moved on to my present company which is TAG Aviation, also in Geneva. I like to think I have a good amount of experiance for my years on commercial as well as corprate aircraft and have some good refference letters to back up my confidence/statement

.
I will be moving to Montreal at the end of June so will be looking/hoping for work from July onwards. I already have my working visa and do have a basic understanding of french (une biere avec frites s'il vous plait

) so would not have to much of a language problem.
Ok, I dont want this to sound like a personal promotion thread so I will leave it at that.
Like I said earlier, I would really really appreciate any info or possible places of employment/jobs which I would qualify for.
Thanks for taking the time to read my thread and if any of you guys would like any info on the european aviation scene I would be glad to help.
Best regards,
Adam
