Online approach procedures
Is there a source for Canadian approach procedures online? Last minute trip.
Thanks

Re: Online approach procedures
I don't think so. At least, it wasn't a few months ago. Doubt anything changed since...

You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on

Heck, with any luck you'll have your paperless cockpit @ about year 2020...........and maybe...just maybe you will have that same data on your portable GPS.
My vote is that Transport Canada sets a mandate and contracts the whole sjabang out to Jepp.

Thank you for contacting NAV CANADA.
Our Aeronautical Information Services department is currently modernizing its production platform and is migrating to an automated data management system. This new system will take us from a product driven process to a data driven one. It will allow us greater output flexibility and will give us the capability to generate both paper and digital product.
Presently we are working towards making the Canadian Flight Supplement and Canadian Air Pilot available in a downloadable format. Pilots will be able to print the specific pages required for flight, minimizing the amount of paper in the cockpit. There are a few technical issues that must be rectified to ensure that the electronic format of these publications do not pose a safety threat when users print individual pages before this change can be released. We are presently working on resolving these issues and will soon be in a position to communicate the effective date these changes will be implemented.
