Now that I have the attention of fellow gun "nuts", can somebody tell me what the small automatic carbines the OPP use these days are? They look a bit like stripped down AR15's but smaller, with a very short tube. Should have asked one of the guys, but they were a little busy at the time. They are .223/7.62? Are there any wee carbines that run on 9mm? Mini 14's used to. Wonder if they still make it in a 9mm?

Not having the combat experience I'll have to decline comment on that. however in my small experience ie just over 500 rounds on each of the MP5, and the colt ar 15-9mm auto. I prefer the ar 15, it has in my opinion better ergonomics. but that maybe due to familiarity with the AR platform, I used to own one before they were restricted, and used to shoot extensively. Yes I am old, Screw you.
Tried an MP5 out at "The GunShop" in Las Vegas (far better way to waste money than the casinos or god forbid Celine Dion in Vegas). I thought it was a bit like firing a sewing machine compared at least to the AK or M16
That picture is going to make a nice shotgun target, Thanks!! Start with a OO and then a sabot between those awful chops that, in real life, make those terrible sounds when they move.
I thought of that pic as a "target" as well. I must not be the only one here who had the same "thought"? Looks like a one pickle garage. Of course, there are "other" possibilities......But you'd have to think "outside the box".....
