Nimbo
I think I can add a couple, Points of Call Airways, Air Club, Canada Jet Charters, West-Ex... ok and many more that it is too early for me to think of.

Real eye opener to see them all in one place. Not even all, really, lots more than that.OceansEdge wrote:Air Alliance · Air Atlantic · Air Baffin · Air BC · Air Canada Tango · Air Nova · Air Ontario · Airspeed Aviation · AllCanada Express · Austin Airways · Baxter Aviation · BCWest Air · Canada 3000 · Canada West Airlines · Canadian Airlines · Canadian Airways · Canadian Colonial Airways · Canadian Pacific Airlines · Canadian Regional Airlines · City Express · Colonial Airlines · Eastern Provincial Airways · Fortunair · Globemaster Air Cargo · Great Lakes Airlines · Greyhound Air · Harmony Airways · Intair · Inter-Canadien · Jetsgo · Knighthawk Air Express · Lamb Air · Maestro · Maritime Central Airways · Millardair · NAC Air · Nationair · Nolisair · Norcanair · Nordair · NorOntair · North Canada Air · NWT Air · Odyssey International · Ontario Express · Pacific Western Airlines · Peace Air · Powell Air · Quebecair · Quebecair Express · Queen Charlotte Airlines · QuikAir · Roots Air · Royal Aviation · Skyservice · Sonicblue Airways · Southern Frontier Airlines · Time Air · Transair · Trans-Canada Air Lines · Trans-Provincial Airlines · Triton Airlines · Val Air · Vision Airways Corporation · Vistajet · Wardair · Winnport · Worldways Canada · World-Wide Airways · Zip · Zoom

Re: A list of memories...
it is really - and I couldn't help but start reading through the list and going "oh yes, I remember them...." etc. A real pocketful of memories....
heck would anyone ever remember Roots Air if it weren't on a list of defunct Canadian airlines - it lasted what? 5 minutes?

Burrard Air.
Ah the days when the Islander was the airline and of course, "morning, morning, morning."
Then there was Ed Green in dispatch. I still laugh when I think of him saying, "it's time we fire you pablum pukers and hired some real pilots" or "the keys are in the bus."

Northern Wings, Wheeler Airlines, Newfoundland Air Transport, Gander Aviation, St. Felicien Air Service, Royalair, Laurentian Air Services, Mont Laurier Aviation, Air Gaspe, A. Fecteau Transport Aerien.
Air Gaspe had the first 748 in Canada. The airplane, CF-AGI, is still going strong in Whitehorse. Fecteau had the largest fleet of commercial Beavers in the world at one time.

Jet All , Eastern Flying service.
Flying is better than walking. Walking is better than running. Running is better than crawling. All of these however, are better than extraction by a Med-Evac, even if this is technically a form of flying.
