TCA operates in Haiti, Afghanistan, Liberia and Ivory Coast. Rotation is 10 on 5 off (ouch), and subject to change. Pay=not so great, plus bond. I do not, or have not worked there, so that is all I know.

An interesting company to work for. A great experience though for those looking for an adventure before settling down.

Hey undashflier, was unable to PM you, maybe you've got it disabled? Was hoping for some more concrete numbers regarding pay and perdiems, both for F/O's and the left seat. And how about upgrade times/requirements/movement?

Also, how late is 'late pay'? Couple days? Or weeks/longer? Lastly, the terms of the bond? Cash up front, no repayment; or a signed note?

I'd really like to get into the UN overseas flying myself (and before I get flamed by other posters, I'm weighing the options!); any pms would be great!

Can anyone provide some concrete numbers on sched/conditions/pay/per diems for right seat guys. Also, what are upgrade times like and what are the requirements needed to be upgraded? Finally, considering the type of flying TCA currently conducts, is it still possible to qualify for the tax exepemtion previously mentioned?

PMs are greatly appreciated!

From what I hear there is no set pay scale. It's all based on what you can negotiate which means everyone gets a different salary. Their perdiems are $40US which is lower than the average of $50US.

Yes they qualify for tax exempt status on the UN contracts but I'm not sure about the Afghan contract.

There is no bond. You simply pay for the training up front. It's not prorated; you don't get it back. It's gone forever.
