Just like every other Ryanair "idea" that they know is completely impossible and illegal before they go to the press. All publicity is good publicity and that is the card that Ryanair keeps playing, and people keep buying it.
Even if it was a plausible idea, lets face it the extra pilot isn't the reason the cost of the flight is high. Eliminating the pilot won't save much.
