There's also this classic video complete with cool 80's synthesizer music.

I was looking at the cold fog last night and thought, "Man! There's no way I'd want to be flying in this stuff. "

Am I the only one that will question the Recovery technique of a wing stall recovery on this Video by NASA?. About ¾ of the way through the video.

I thought there was a lot of support on this matter through another discussion on this forum of proper Stall recovery technique.
Don’t get me wrong, I think there is a lot of good info on there but I feel a bit of unease when ever I hear someone use that sequence of a stall recovery.

That s all

That video is generally about tail plane stalls. Not wing stalls. In a tail plane stall it is the correct technique to pull back, to decrease the angle of attack on the tail.

If that is what you are referring to.

Just started putting IceX on the Navajo boots. Makes her look great in the hanger and sheds the ice better.

BTD
I understand the video is about Tail plane stall. ( re watch the video again )
I am referring to the part of the video where they compare the correct technique to recover from both a wing Stall and a tail wing stall, and how different they are.
My problem here is with their wing stall recovery procedure.

In their wing stall recovery procedure they indicated power, then a reduction in attitude.
I am quite familiar with the Tail plane stall and Recognition and Recovery procedures .
About ¾ of the way through the video is where you will find the comparison on the NASA video.
Wings stall recovery procedure:
“Power application
Reduce back pressure on the Elevator controls and or
In some cases forward pressure “
This is the part I am refereeing too.

A free 'course,' initial and recurrent, for icing considerations. I found other information on their site too, but I'm sure you can work the site too.
