Jazz Air LP purchases First Air

Today Jazz Air LP, announced that they have acquired Rival Airline First Air, at the same time CEO Joe Randall also confirmed that Jazz Air is also in Talks with another Northern Company Canadian North.

Mr. Randall has gone on the record stating that when the current CPA with fellow company Air Canada expires in 2020, that Jazz is looking at reducing its liability within that contract. These new aquisitions allow us to position ourselves better for our future.



I could just see the grievence ACPA would be filing if this ever happened.

I figured that it is gettin late into the winter season, I haven't been fishing in a long time.

We joke about it, but i'm sure there is a grievance floating around there, waiting to spring it's ugly head, again. Knowing ACPA, it can be anything within the confines of aviation, so long as it pertains to Jazz.

I was too surprised after reading the first half of your post. Should have known, being on avcanada! Maybe someday Joe will clue in.
