Is FNT a good company to work for?
Hey...
I was invited for an interview for a ramp position which will hopefully lead to a flying job. I was wondering what it's like working for this company. How long do rampies usually have to wait for a flying position? Any info or useful tips would be great!
P.S. What's the best way to get to Gimli from Winnipeg Airport. Bus?Car?Train?
Thanks

Son...my wife's legs have more time in the air then you do!
Get a copy of the last Aviatior magazine. There is a write up on the operation. I gave them a hand a couple times last year in Armstrong. The door makes it nearly impossible to load stuff without handbombing. If I could afford to work for less. I would'nt mind spending my summer riding around in the Commando. Drive

I'm curious to know if a "crewman" will ever see a pilot position within that company?? Don't they have really high time requirements to even get into a seat on the C46?? What about the King Air 200? Is it realistic to think that someone with 500 hours is going to upgrade from the ramp into the right seat??
live simply. simply live.

I know someone who got an interview to go up there. He received the invite from the CP for a specific date and time. I'm not sure what cattle-call interviews are, but I imagine that they invited a certain amount of people to come.duplicate2 wrote:Are these open interviews? My information was that there is just a cattle call at 10am on Fri Apr 22.

Not sure what my friend got as a response. I got an attachment from the CP in my email response, which I just realized right now (I received 2 responses with no text in the body, just an attached file, which I thought was my own resume!
).
