I know the guys up north will laugh heartily at the temps we b1tch about, but this is the south! I was born in Cold Lake, and used to live in YQT, but now that I live in the south, I don't wear a toque anymore, the long johns stay packed, and I never wear my big boots any more - just these little girly brown things that are really just chunky running shoes.
Like going to FLL and having to wear long pants. Jeez.

It was above freezing on the ski-hill yesterday.
Though my son is bundled up, I was in a T-shirt when I took this.
Really cooled down today though... high of -1.

Not sure why anyone would live in Labrador. I doubt they move there
for the climate!

It's a long way from Ottawa?

I washed my car wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt this weekend in glorious sunshine and about + 7 tempurature. We drove down to Summerland with friends and walked along the lake with a light sweater on. Sky was blue, no wind, it was one for the books for January. Mind you, we are usually golfing by the middle of February, sometimes earlier.

That was just Toronto, the rest of Ontario laughed too. Maybe Ford will be just as much of a gong show as Mayor Mel.
Anyway, both cars complained horribly this morning. The Ford let our a whine like a little school girl, and the Toyota bitched damn near as much as my daughter does in the morning.

Use 5w50 synthetic oil in the winter for zero problems. Oil light will go out immediately. Engine will always turn over. I've never tried below -30c tho!!

Yamy is a 500 4 stroke and the Polaris is a 600 HO 120 hp. Goes good enough to scare the shyt out me. Both great sleds and loads of fun. Call me we'll go for a ride.
