Holy cow Cloud Air!

Post by Northern Skies »

Just saw the float training price list:

C172 dual $285.......... I did it for $200.
C172 PIC $245.......... I did it for $150.
C180 "with check pilot" $400........... last time I checked $230 PIC/$280 dual elsewhere.
C206 "with check pilot" $550.......... Isn't Air Hart's Beaver going for $500?

I guess someone's getting rich. How good is the training anyway?

Have you ever been to Muskoka? Some of the cottages have boat houses bigger than most people's residential homes. I don't think cost is a consideration for some of the customers, thus the company's ability to charge what you may consider out of the ordinary prices.

Sounds like shopping at Kmart. If you have to complain about the price go elsewhere. My private cost 807.00 dollars and I got a 100.00 back from the Gov,t. Woopie Sh!t

Wow..

Twenty thousand dollars to get 100 hours on floats.

Why not just buy your own econimical float plane, fly the ass of it and then sell it?

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no

After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.
