Air Canada need how many new pilots?

Anyone from Air Canada, can confirm the number of new pilots required for the ERJ 190/175 someone told me when the pilots on layoff are back they will need 200 new pilots, it look high to me! but for sure make me happy!

I'm not too sure, but that sounds about right. Don't quote me on it however. I heard from a buddy of mine out west, that the mainline may even start hiring before Jazz does.

Heard from a friend in acpa that hiring will start before end 2005, but no firm date yet. He speculated about 150 new hires.

150-160 new hires.

Heard mid 2005 for interviews - might be sooner.

I heard the same number but a later date. 150 New Hires by first Quarter 2006. That was from VP Flt Ops.
