Interview and medical complete, just waiting... anyone know if calls have gone out for Feb 21st?

So no one even knows of anyone who has been called for the Feb 21st GS? Seems like they're cutting it pretty close as that's less than two weeks away! Anyone know when the next GS starts?

Word on the street is that ground school numbers are being dropped from 16 new hires down to 8.
Keep in mind that this is nothing official, just rumour.

Any word on the next ground school after Feb 28th. Next date ? Number of new hires for class? And especially how long before the ground school can you expect the call. Seems like the call comes 2 weeks before ground school starts regardless of when the medical was completed. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

From looking at the training info, only 8 spots left at this time for EMJ initials in March. That could be covered by the candidates on the Feb 28th course (50 hires this round thus far). A new equipment bid could be available toward the end of March, which may dictate where hiring goes from here.

That's not a confirmed fact by any means. I'm just one guy making a guess based on what I'm seeing on the training schedule. It gets updated at least twice a month. One of the groundschools had 5 777RP spots that showed up unexpectedly, for example. There will be a handful of folks after the 28th that will best know the details.

Agreed on the tough commute though. Although no one holds a block right off the bat, so reserve is pretty tough for commuting on all the equipment.
