Trailer looks great! It is good to see so many tv shows hitting the airwaves centered on different types of ops.

Jeebus, when tv makes money at something they just try to squeeze every last cent out of it!

That said, it looks really interesting! I'll tune in.

Interesting .... one of the stars of the show one time offerred me a hundred bucks to file an IFR Flight Plan on my licence number so he could depart in super-crummy weather in some piece of junk like an ill-equipped Aztec. He was stuck ... away from home "with obligations" and FSS wouldn't take a special observation long enough to let him out of the zone. Admittedly, that was quite some time ago, so his core personality and value system has likely changed completely.

I'll watch just to sneer when I see him on-screen.

Looks a little too Campy for my tastes, besides, how interesting can Nipawin Sask really be?

Personally, if I wanna watch a spray plane, I'll just watch them out my window...and consider shooting down that bugger that starts at 0500 every morning. Honestly, how much spraying does one field need?

There's some good characters in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

And as for the 5 am spraying, the man is just doing his job, protecting your neighbours crops.

Episode 1 Teaser of Dust Up ~ It Looked Like Death

Post by DustUpTv »

Tensions building for us leading up to the premiere episode of Dust Up on History Television on Thursday June 2nd, 9 pm ET / PT, 7 pm Sask Time.

Our tension is nothing like that of our pilots though in the first Episode of the Series:

The field will still be there at 0800, or 1400, or 2000, and there are others to be sprayed a little further away from a populated centre that early. Keep plugging your show, I'm sure you'll have one or two fans here from your advertising blitz.

The trailer provides an interesting perspective of this operator's approach to safety. For example, there were two pilots flying with their helmet strap not fastened. Why bother wearing a helmet if you're not going to secure it on your head?

That's an easy one. What if you're in such a serious accident that it knocks your helmet off? If your chinstrap was done up, your head would go with it!

Thinking I'm going with the NAAA's stance on the aerial application "reality series", which is to refuse to endorse the program. This is a very very touchy industry and doesn't need the publicity that I'm seeing in the trailer. Having flown ag in the past, the dramatization I've seen already (in the trailer) is ridiculous.

That's just me, though. I'm sure someone out there *might* believe it's what they're portraying.

Thanks but No Thanks

Honestly, you might come off as a little more respectable and sincere if you weren't just on these forums to plug your TV show. If you want to advertise, then talk to the moderators about buying some advertising space and supporting these forums. Heck, you might even be forgiven if you'd actually take part in the conversations and comment on something that isn't a blatant effort to boost the ratings on your TV show.

You should really be plugging your show over on some forum that has farming as the primary topic, that way you might even get more clients.
