CAR's for the AME. I read that and got 48/50 on my Regs exam. Check the date of the latest revision and cross reference any information from the CARs website. Theres a site aerotraining.com, its a fun little exercise but I found it didnt really prepare me for the exam.

I used CAR's for the AME too. I got my highest mark on the CAR's exam. The sample tests in the back are great. If you can do those tests, you can feel confident about the TC CAR's exam.

I used CARs for the AME and wrote my exam yesterday, it helped out a lot. I got my copy at Aviation World... I think you can order it online from carsfortheame.com. Many questions on the actual exam were very close to ones in the book, it definitely helps focus you on what to study. I read through the book, highlighted what I thought was important, did a practice exam, checked the answers and went back and studied what I'd done wrong. In the end I did each test probably 3 or 4 times, and the day before I wrote I did all 5 tests at once, did well on the practice, went in feeling confident that I was ready to write, and did well on the actual exam.
