wrong signature in log book
Scenario: Checking back in a log book I find a signature incorrectly entered in this book. Let's say the signing AME was not the correct one, but rather I was. Should I cross his name out and put mine in?

Re: wrong signature in log book
Depends how long ago and what the signature was for.
How can you tell which one is the pilot when you walk into a bar?....Don't worry he will come up and tell you.

Re: wrong signature in log book
You mean there is a difference.
Pick something: Maintenance release after an annual inspection on private aircraft 3 years ago.

Need more information
Private a/c TC do not even look unless there is a complaint, commercial aircraft enforcement is stale dated after a year. Lawyers after an incident look out
Suggest one line through it, make a statement entered in error and move along

Thanks AME 283 for your advice. Not sure if it's in the CAR's.
