"Missinippi Airways will co-operate fully with the Transportation Safety Board inspectors as they determine the cause of the accident," Fondse said in a prepared statement.
There is no substitute for BIG JUGS!!
Re: Aircraft down in CZFG Pukatawagan
Beaver Air Services is Missinippi Airways.
Re: Aircraft down in CZFG Pukatawagan
Beaver Air Serice does business as Missinippi Airways and according to a TSB spokesman on the radio, the airplane was a C208B manufactured in 2005.
According to T.C. register info this would be C-FMCB.

Re: Aircraft down in CZFG Pukatawagan
Does anyone know the pilot involved? If so can you send me a pm, sent a few emails out and nothing returned! Have a couple friends that work with said company. Thanks for the help!
The more you know the more trouble you can get in!
Re: Aircraft down in CZFG Pukatawagan
Heard a rumour today. Hope there is NO truth to it. It happened on the third takeoff attempt? Flaps? I'm not saying this was the case, but, if an airplane fails to take off, a reason MUST be found before another attempt is made. In the 'van, it's either the weight, or the flaps not being set for takeoff?

Re: Aircraft down in CZFG Pukatawagan
In the picture, its hard to tell but it appears the flaps were down...
The only three things a wingman should ever say: 1. "Two's up" 2. "You're on fire" 3. "I'll take the fat one"
Re: Aircraft down in CZFG Pukatawagan
Which picture? The one in this thread? I couldn't tell a thing from that? Certainly not flap position? Looks like a Barbecue.Redneck_pilot86 wrote:In the picture, its hard to tell but it appears the flaps were down...

Re: Aircraft down in CZFG Pukatawagan
All I am basing that on is the picture in this thread. It *appears* like there is a gap just forward of the trailing edge of what is left of the right wing, which would be consistent with the flaps being down.

Rumour's false. I heard it from 3 different sources, but it's false.

Transport Canada suspends Missinippi Airways' Air Operator Certificate
WINNIPEG, July 16, 2011 /CNW/ - Transport Canada has suspended Missinippi Airways' Air Operator Certificate, effective July 15, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. Without an Air Operator Certificate, a company cannot provide commercial air services in Canada.
This action is based on safety concerns identified during Transport Canada's inspection following the accident in Pukatawagan on July 4, 2011.
Transport Canada has taken this action in the interest of public safety. Transport Canada consulted with Missinippi Airways throughout the period leading up to the suspension. This suspension does not rule out further regulatory action.
Transport Canada will continue to work with Missinippi Airways. The company must demonstrate that it meets all applicable safety regulations before Transport Canada will reissue its Air Operator Certificate.
