Let's go for the numbers, and give more pilots a job... :smt040
you mean operations we are doing now. How is your crystal ball at predicting what kind of operations we will be doing in 10 or 20 or 30 years hence?

Why the reference to the accidental embassy bombing. This had nothing to do with the type of aircraft, but was an intelligence fail AFAIK. Are you trying to poison something in the conversation?
With the reference to the "accidental" embassy bombing and the entire "Kosovo" campaign, I will say is that is was one big shameful farce by NATO.

How's that for poisoning the conversation?

Only "farce"?I would say it was simply a criminal act. Double standards at its best.

I'd say the criminal act was snipering civilians and lining up men and boys to be shot en masse to prevent them from evenually joining the resistance against Serbian forces.

I'd say you try and live there before you say things like that, which CNN and BBC feeds you with your morning cereals, good sir. Filter through the main media bs and you'll understand what really went on over there, as well in Libya and other "freedom" operations NATO partakes in.

Thought you were more open minded then that teacher....

OK maybe it was a little much, but calling NATOs air campaign that ended the civil war criminal is as well.

The Canadian F35 version will not have the radar absorbing paint/coating on it. That is still a highly guarded US secret.

Interested in finding out what some experts think of the next piece of crap Canada is about to get, google '' F35 Pierre Sprey''. On that same page, more and more of the same from different sources.

What makes Russian fighters better in the cold than American built ones, heated seats?

Our 18's have a far better serviceability rate when its below -10c, shit doesn't overheat and the pilots don't complain about the A/C.

:D Good one

Unlike some on the board it seems I would not like to see Canada in a position having to find out which fighters are better. Nor to speculate about it. What goes around comes around, and this is not what the majority of us needs. The other questions is that the military and certain politicians have different agenda, time and time again. Apparently it never gets old.
