Flight test Guide for Sim

Post by Nordo »

Just wondering if any of you know what TC uses for the flight test guide for PPC rides done in the sim. I am looking at the TP219E just wondering if it is the right guide for 1900 or dash renewals?

Thanx.

Is this for a company? If so it should be covered in the company's training manual or COM. A PPC will cover more than what's required for a ME/IFR rating as the ride is not solely for renewing your IFR. You will have to demonstrate knowledge of aircraft systems, emergency procedures and CRM.

The standards are found in the CASS 722 / 723 / 724 / 725 depending which type of operation you are doing. They are:

The sim ride tries to include things which are not done on an actual aircraft ride such as windshear, fire, RTO; as well as a better assessment of your automation management.

Cheers guys!

Yes it is for a renewal at an exec charter company. I should have thought about the OPS manual before I asked! I just went to the TC site and got the 219 form and was looking through it and thinking to myself how basic it was and knew something was missing. I have found what I am looking for now. Thanks for the help.
