Do Not feel bad for these birds...a closer look and you will see that none have engines on them.. They are DC9s/MDs
They were probably being scraped before the water damage.

You can lead a DC-9 to water but you can't make it drink. Lead water to a DC-9 and apparently it's a whole different story...

I saw this photo from another angle. My initial impression was that it made me think of ducks idyllically floating on a pond.

I feel bad for the people of Thailand, although I am amazed on how they take this in stride. I have two very close friends who have been flooded out of their houses; photos of water half-way up to the ceiling on the first floor. And no end in sight! :-(

I just sold my house in Bangkok 2 months ago and am glad that i did, feel sorry for the lady who bought it but she may still make it out okay. Living in the Gulf of Thailand now so my only worry is when the next big earthquake will hit........... :D
