Bush Flying in Panoramas - A Year in the Life
Thought I would share a collection of photos with everyone that I think shows perfectly why I love flying the Twin Otter in the North.
Soon I'll be moving on to new equipment, and throughout my year and half flying the Twin Otter I put together this collection. It's set up to take you through an entire year; starting with spring and continuing through the seasons. With so many wide open spaces in the north, I think the panoramic shots truly show the beauty of the places we go.

Let me know what you think!
Thanks
Jason

They are beautiful Jason.
Takes me back more than forty years to the days I met Pene and all the years I flew the Arctic.
Now my career as a pilot is over pictures like these allow me to remember what it was like.
Thank you.

The hardest thing about flying is knowing when to say no
After over a half a century of flying no one ever died because of my decision not to fly.

Very nice. we've been to a lot of the same and similar places. Dunno if I would ever want to give up the Otter.

Fantastic shots! Wow. Thanks for posting. Curious, how did you manage to snag the northern lights when they constantly move, this is assuming you are stitching photo's together?

The photos are stitched together, I think that one was 5 or 6 shots. The first couple times I tried panoramas of the northern lights, I was surprised at how well they stitched together. Even with some movement it usually works out. Just make sure your exposure time for each shot is as short as possible, and be quick to get all the shots.HuD 91gt wrote:Fantastic shots! Wow.
