I no longer hold a valid instrument rating as far as TC is concerned..
If I needed to file IFR I would do it and fly with the same caution and respect for safety that I have for decades.
I no longer hold a valid instructors rating and never ever again intend to demean myself by interfacing with some deadbeat drone working for TC flight training.
However I will give instruction to anyone with the cash to pay me as long as they do not want a receipt.
I do hold a valid Canadian medical for my licenses, however the only reason that I bother with that is so I can still keep my foreign approvals valid because they are based on my Canadian license's .
However when I no longer feel like flying overseas I will let my medical lapse and if I feel medically and mentally fit to fly I will.
If TC ramps me I will just tell them to f.ck off.
I can do this because I have a unspoken agreement with the DGCA that as long as he sees nothing wrong with his TC officials ignoring the law and being moral degenerates like him, the DGCA can also go f.ck himself.
