While it's cool to go inside. I really hope to see it land. In my opinion that will be the highlight. Watching it take off will be good too.

If the wind is blowing out of the west today in YYC (maybe gusting 25 knots) will they land on 28 or does that thing need the length of 16/34?

I hope 34 for viewing purposes...

They just filed from MSP to Moses Lake, Washington. I'm thinking a fuel stop before popping up to us?

I have heard from ATC that they will most likely need 16/34 for the length on arrival (definitely departure).

ETA from the YYC airport authority is 2215 tonight. They will update as they hear more. Currently she's in the air from MSP to MWH.

I would think they picked up something in Saint Paul that's going to Moses lake.

cyeg66 the photoshop picture is the one with 18 engines below the actual picture one page 1.

I'm stoked but I wish it would arrive and depart during daylight.

Lol. Thanks. Fackin' company internet  (Web(non)sense) restricts all sorts of stuff without giving you any clue that something's been blocked. I'll know what you guys are talking about when I check the thread at home or on my phone. Still hoping she takes off Tues morning in decent light. Want some pics!

Yeah, here's hoping. I get the feeling it's like most Calgary operations. Go full tilt, the second it's loaded or unloaded, ramps in and the door's shut they're firing it up to get to the next stop.

Worry not Beef, it's not scheduled to depart until Wednesday. It will be interesting to see how they manage to fit it onto Apron 2 tonight along with a B747-800, a 727 and 767!

No it's just south of the terminal by the Air Canada cargo building, and where Air Canada does all their deicing.

Is this Wednesday departure confirmed? Any idea what time is planned?

I had heard they were only planning a 6 hour turn here.

Is there any word on where it is going afterwards? Is there going to be another fuel stop at a Canadian airport?
