i want to know ,,what happen if they iwll call yes or not,,,,how long take the process?
Re: Air Transat Interview Process
First hand info from an Air Transat A330 captain:
1. Interview with HR,CP. Consists mostly of the typical airline interview questions: why us?, etc...
2. If all goes well, the next step is the sim evaluation. Mostly consists of IFR procedures and cockpit management. You will have a captain acting as your co-jo so make sure to use him since you have no idea how to fly the plane initially... They want to see you using your resources but you still have to complete your main tasks.
A scenario that will happen for sure: They will ask you to do a holding pattern... make sure to slow down, ask if you need a flap setting for your weight ect... The Cpt told me they like that stuff... apparently most guys forget to do that stuff even at that level
3. If that goes well, you get the call and training starts in Montreal. It last 6 months including ground school and sim training.
Hope that helps!
