YPK to Host Annual Airport Day! Fly-in Events for Aviators

The Pitt Meadows Regional Airport is excited to invite you to join in on a weekend of aviation fun!

On Saturday June 16th, Pacific Rim Aviation Academy will host a Rust Remover course for pilots wishing to update their currency. The evening will finish off with a dinner and hangar dance hosted by the Aeroclub of BC featuring the Bruce James Orchestra. Parking is ample for those wishing to fly-in and space for under wing camping is available with advanced notice. Landing, parking and camping are all free of charge for the weekend.

Sunday the 17th, YPK will open its gates to the public for their annual open house. Returning favourites such as the children’s ride-on airplane train, static aircraft exhibition and vintage car show will be joined by new, exciting displays by popular aircraft manufacturers and intro flights for kids aged 5 to 95!
