Well , how funny a couple of days changes everything!

1. Now we know where Duncan Dee is going.

2. 5 777's just acquired will probably go to this venture.

3. The outside partner airline if I was a betting person
will be Robert Milton's venture Air Asia X , who I read in
a publication was having trouble making a go with ultra long haul
low cost. Needed premium seats to make it work.
Now try Canada - Asia using Air Canada asssets and government
support?

4 . The government will allow this to happen. Come on, do you not
know you are being fooled by these sharks?!!!

5. The fight for the pilot profession in Canada has entered
its next stage!! Take cover.

I'd say you hit the nail on the head again Mel. Milton raping Air Canada once again. These guys, like our Politicians, could never make it on a level playing field. God made sheep so that they could be sheared.

Or.............It is an attempt at manipulating ACPA's FOS submission.

The MEC is in session as we speak deliberating its contents.

Does the article scared you enough to throw that horseshoe even closer to TA1?

Fanblade, agreed. However, I'd suspect there is nothing in this article that the company hasn't been threatening the MEC with for the last year. First it was the EMJ's, then the 319's and 767, now the threat is 777 and 787's, very creative.

Very poor reporting in my opinion, the article doesn't even name the ubiquitous "industry official". Does Brent Jang realize he's being used as a puppet for Air Canada's propaganda?

The evolution of capitalism continues....

Being forced to hand over your skilled labor job to a developing country citizen who will do your skilled labor job for 2/3'rds less. He/she can of course because their cost of living is half of yours in your homeland.

They have a fun term for this..Globalization. Get used to it.

IF this airline comes to pass, the pilots will be payed the same if not more money if they are based offshore. Only thing is they won't get a DB pension. Exactly what AC wants.

If I was CR, I would be watching my back for a guy in a ski mask and holding a baseball bat and not walking down any dark alleys. One day someone is going to crack and beat guys like this silly. Heck it happens in the city for just cutting someone off on the road for pete's sake. Now here is a guy who is doing something that has the consequence of ruining lives.

I have heard him called Rent Jang on a number of occasions now.

And it may not be him either. The pressure may be coming from above. Advertising dollars speak. Who knows.

Either way there is an obvious trend developing. Rent has been releasing timely articles, with very little substance, that appear designed to create fear in the Air Canada employee group. Articles that conveniently allows AC deniability and wrath avoidance from an arbitrator who might get upset if he thought AC was trying to manipulate his arbitration.

It would be illegal talking directly to the employee group at this juncture.

Now who's hallmark does that sound like?

Hint

Rules apply to everyone but him and is known to leverage fear based negotiations strategy's.
