Private air strip and Hanger for rent

Hi

This may be the wrong spot of this but here goes...

I am looking at a new house and I happen to cross 1 with a private hanger and a federally reg 2300 foot grass strip. I fell in love with the rental property on it and the grass strip. I dont own yet...but maybe this should be my reason.

I would like to see if I could rent it out to someone wanting to hanger a plane and have a private grass strip to fly out of. Is there somewhere I can advertise or ever look to see what a fair price to ask.

I should have stated where it is i guess. (Cpv2) It is located just to the north west of Orangeville. I fly out of Brampton a lot so I know the area. Its located very close to the brampton pratice area. The hanger is massive 4700 square feet, and I bet I could get 2 172's in it. The only problem I see with it is that its not heated but I may change that

Yeah I saw this place too, looks really sweet. Did you see the video tour on the Realtors website? I wish I had that kind of cash too!!

I'm looking for a place in that area, but haven't found a good agent to work with yet. Is your agent any good?

Wow, saw it. I can sell my tiny house in T.O buy this and still have a plenty of cash left over. Is there any business going on there?

I know this property. They keep five airplanes in the big hanger over the winter and have others tied down outside all summer. My Dad,s friend knows the owner. They are a bunch of good old boys who like to fly old airplanes, drink beer and tell flying stories. It is 40 minutes from Toronto and five minutes from the nearest beer store. When I win the lotery I will fly my Stearman from there. Pilot,s paradise for sure.

It is my paradise for sure, 2 stocked trout ponds, a rental property and air strip... heaven! It was a bit out of my price range but with the rental i may just be able to make it happen. The wife fell in love with the land but was hesitant because of all the work it may be. I say bring it on!

Not looking good for us at this point though, I thought I could rent the hanger out for a bit more than what it is really worth (i had no clue what rent would be on it, may not be worth renting just allowing someone to use it in exchange for some flight time)
