Lyc 540 Conversion for U206

I see the new model 206's come with the Lyc IO-540 now.

Search here and on NICO yields nothing. So there probably is nothing, but I have to ask:

Anyone ever heard of such a thing? Converting a U206 F or G from the Con 520 over to a Lyc 540?

There was a conversion that replaced the Cont IO 520 with a 350 hp Lyc TIO 540 (basically the Pa 31-350 engine with twin turbo's). I think it was done by Turbo Plus.

Rarely are such conversions economical. You have to
try to sell your old engine and prop, then purchase a
new engine and prop and accessories, possibly a new
cowl, new air intake, new alternate air plumbing, new
exhaust, new engine mount & biscuits, new engine
controls ... this is hideously expensive.

Probably easier to sell your 206 and buy one with
the engine you want already installed.

The 350 hp Lyc is not the best engine in the older C206.
Your better off with a Continental IO550 conversion.
