C-GCVL apparently really F-BCVL serial 273 painted for the 2007 movie 'L' instinct de Mort', according to a

Cool photo! The Caravelle's cockpit was built by de Havilland, and was nearly identical to the Comet's cockpit.
United Airlines was the only North American carrier to operate the Caravelle.

Six ex-United birds were operated for close to a year by Airborne Express in the U.S.

Oh man, my dad used to ramp and wash these beauties for JAT back in a day. Got to dig out some pictures.

Just checked out the registration C-GCVL on the TC site for curiousity's sake.

A Hughes 269C has had that registration since 1983. Wonder if the movie producers had to pay royalties?
