This is from the cbc news site:
Quote:
Five people escaped serious injury in a plane crash on Pelican Lake in northwestern Ontario on Sunday.
The pilot and four passengers sustained minor injuries after a Cessna operated by Slate Falls Airways
crashed at about 2 p.m., shortly after take-off from Pelican Lake. The group was going sight-seeing
over Sioux Lookout.
Ontario Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout say emergency services, citizens and Slate Falls Airways
employees all assisted in getting the crash victims to safety.
All occupants of the aircraft were treated and released from Meno Ya Win Health Centre in Sioux Lookout.

Re: Float aircraft in Sioux Lookout
If it's the same accident, I saw a photo this morning - all you could see was the bottom of the floats - the entire aircraft
was upside down - under water. The wheels were retracted.
Slate Falls has 2 Cessna U206G C-GGPW, C-GGRW
There is 1 Cessna TU206G C-GGHW listed in the registry, however it's not listed on their website.
They allso operate a DHC-2 MK. I and 2 DHC-3T.

Wow, good eye Bizjet. By "wheels were retracted" did you actually intend to say not installed?
